Socialism Fills the Manhood Vacuum

By Marc H. Rudov, The NoNonsense Man®April 16th, 2010

How Imperfect I Am

Nature abhors a vacuum, as our ears detect when a blast of air rushes into a just-opened soda can. There’s a manhood vacuum in America — an unnatural state — and we’re seeing, hearing, and feeling socialism surging to fill it, destroying a once-great country in the process.

Manhood is the willingness of a male to seize control of his destiny, face all adversity, take responsibility for his decisions, and fight for his rights — even when his adversary is female. It’s the antithesis of “yes, dear” or “she manipulated me” or “no real man lets a woman pay.”

Is manhood alive in America? Hell no. Instead, there’s an absence of manhood — a vacuum. Examples abound. On February 5, 2009, Barack Obama said this at the Democratic Caucus Issues Conference in Williamsburg, VA: “Michelle reminds me every day how imperfect I am.” How manly. Can you imagine Michelle making the reciprocal comment about him?

Male politicians (Clinton, Biden, Hatch, Leahy, Specter, Bush, and Obama) unconstitutionally created and perpetuated the Office on Violence Against Women; male voters elected and reelected them. Feminists love the manhood vacuum.

Maria Shriver proclaimed America “a woman’s nation” while males (not men) obsequiously acquiesced. Hillary Clinton beamed that US foreign policy revolves around women; males, as usual, sat in silence.

If America belongs to women, and women claim to want equality, why aren’t they compelled by law to defend it? Because a la carte equality for women, a violation of the Constitution, is a byproduct of the manhood vacuum.

Bedrock of Big Government

Socialism, which emphasizes “the group” (fascism derives from the Italian word for bundle) and marginalizes the individual, is the bedrock of Big Government. Under socialism, winners are vilified, penalized, and forced to fund the losers. This setup demotivates and demoralizes the go-getters — which is why rich people are leaving California and half of Americans pay no federal income tax.

Socialism begins at home and continues at school. When your son receives a “participation” trophy, he is learning socialism. When your daughter feels entitled to a man’s largesse — a redistribution of his wealth to her — she’s embracing socialism. When a school eliminates the valedictorian to protect the “feelings” of those not chosen, socialism reigns supreme.

Visualize this three-ceremony format for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London: opening ceremony, gold-medal ceremony for all participants (competition and winners are verboten), and closing ceremony. If socialism is good for countries, it’s good for athletics, right?

Perpetual Dependency and Despotism

Socialism, fascism, Marxism, collectivism, communism, Nazism, and progressivism — different flavors of Big Government — require wealth redistribution, lifestyle control, and entitlements dependency. If you like Big Government, you have small balls. If you believe Big Government is the solution to your problems, you aren’t a man.

Individualism, success, and cash are anathema to socialists — unless they’re in power. Look around the world. Study history. The only beneficiaries of socialism are, have been, and always will be the rulers. The big lie is that socialism helps poor people. Wrong. There’s no dignity in perpetual dependency and despotism.

Big Government can’t take root in a country with strong family units. Socialism must, therefore, disintegrate and replace the traditional family — beginning with marginalizing the father. Our laws and policies encourage divorce and out-of-wedlock pregnancies. Politicians pepper their speeches with references to “those single moms” while ignoring fathers.

Obama thinks so little of men that he exhorts them, via radio PSAs and Fatherhood.gov, to play catch with their kids. How insulting. Even though his Department of Health and Human Services shows that mothers cause most child abuse, there’s no Motherhood.gov. Where’s the male outrage? Nonexistent in the manhood vacuum.

Staunch Progressive

Big Government can’t marginalize a man without his consent (he votes socialists into power), just as a woman can’t dig a man’s gold without his consent (he votes her into power). Failure to admit this reality causes the manhood vacuum.

Woodrow Wilson, 28th American president (1913-1921) and staunch progressive, eschewed individual liberty. Progressives favor the deliberate, incremental disregard of our Constitution, which protects individual liberty. Because manhood and liberty are inextricably linked, eroding liberty is an attack on manhood; the manhood vacuum enables liberty erosion.

In October 1914, Wilson made a seminal address in Pittsburgh at a YMCA celebration in which he revealed his misandry: “I have often said that the use of a university is to make young gentlemen as unlike their fathers as possible.” This is Big Government attacking the family by marginalizing fathers. Yet, males reelected this tyrant to a second term (women couldn’t vote until 1920).

The NoNonsense Bottom Line

Weakness. Inaction. Apathy. Fear. One never links such terms to our Founding Fathers, great men who risked their lives to break the yoke of tyranny and establish a bastion of individual liberty. Today, because of the manhood vacuum, advocates and purveyors of Big Government are destroying that amazing legacy with relative ease.

Remember: manhood and socialism cannot coexist; they are mutually exclusive.

To end Big Government and restore individual liberty: 1) grow a pair, and take control of your destiny; 2) associate only with proponents of small government; 3) never elect socialists and progressives; 4) stand up to women in every aspect of your life.

Although I agree with most everything you seem to be about w/men and women. I have a problem with how you express yourself with politics. I wasn’t aware I was living in a socialist country. I myself am neither right or left. To choose one is to pick the lesser of two evils. Every idiot has an opinion. What are your solutions? Our founding fathers were slave owners who thought of people like myself as less than human/pieces of property. As a small business owner in my early 30′s I would expect people like you to have more to say than just spout rhetoric. What are you doing to fix the aforementioned problems? Stick to guides on men and women at least then you have some solutions. Words on paper don’t mean sh1t.

Jayson, if you weren’t aware you’re living in a socialist country, wake up. And, I urge you to move beyond slavery — the 13th Amendment outlawed it in 1865.

The reason socialists keep getting elected is that the uneducated, apathetic, entitlement-minded electorate vote for them. I gave you my solutions — and did so publicly. If you don’t understand them, it ain’t my fault. One more thing: I’ll write about any subject I choose.

    Marc,

Thank you for the fantastic article. As usual, you’re spot-on. Your solutions of smaller government and gender equality are revered by all who lack covert agendas and are free of political/sexual bias. I’m all for equality and reciprocity in dating.

Perhaps more guys would leave comments to this article if they could only remove their balls from their wives’/girlfriends’ purses.

    Keep up the good work,
    Scott

Way to go, Marc! Finally, someone has the courage to awaken us men to our deficiencies in achieving real manhood; furthermore to expose the path of European-style democratic socialism that our country is undeniably headed – thanks to Obama, Pelosi, and Reed.

Rudov reveals aptly that “The big lie is that socialism helps poor people. Wrong. There’s no dignity in perpetual dependency and despotism.” The Obama administration policies consistently produce a “Nanny State” mentality with “cradle to the grave” entitlement dependency rather than merit-based performance, innovation, entrepreneurialism, and individual liberties.

Marc again nails it by exposing the progressive socialist destruction of traditional American families when he writes ” Big Government can’t take root in a country with strong family units. Socialism must, therefore, disintegrate and replace the traditional family — beginning with marginalizing the father. Our laws and policies encourage divorce and out-of-wedlock pregnancies. Politicians pepper their speeches with references to “those single moms” while ignoring fathers.”

The bottom line is that we males need to take full responsibility for our own actions and inactions, take charge of our lives and our destinies, and put an end to societal and governmental emasculation.

    Jayson-

It might not be socialism ala old Russia, but it’s certainly neosocialism. I’m a moderate like you, but if you look at the facts this government is becoming more and more like France every day.

Mr. Rudov is *genius* for having the guts to tie these two topics together. Most pundits, experts, and bloggers won’t touch these with a ten foot pole.

I admire him for his disregarding of political correctness and just telling us the honest truth. Clarity is missing these days from the information that we men consume. I can’t think of anybody else whose information is so close to reality– post after post after post.

Mr. Rudov wrote, “The reason socialists keep getting elected is that the uneducated, apathetic, entitlement-minded electorate vote for them”

Bingo! This is the kind of information we’re being given that should make Mr. Rudov millions (seriously).

Pres. Obama got elected on being “above politics, above partisanship”, and as a charismatic moderate. Neosocialism instead is being pursued. So you, Jayson, are deeply misguided…

I am quite frankly amazed of how men are so utterly and hopelessy stupid and oblivious to the feminist agenda. Laws which allow men to arrested at the mere accusation of a woman in domestic violence matters are merely shrugged off. Shelters for women that remain for the most part empty, but because they receive goverment grants based on need, drag homeless women off the streets and label them abused to fill them up. These are the new churches that symbolize misandry not female injustice Television commercials that demean men are are supposed to be funny. Place a woman in the same role and they cry hatemongering. In divorce taking the fathers out of the childrens lives and substituting the mother as the head of the household disempowers the male. Ever wonder why the movie “Brokeback Mountain ” revolves around two gay cowboys…..Cowboys have always represented the extreme version of the rugged male…….reduced to gays. Written by a woman and funded by the goverment. The bible is attacked, which is not woman friendly as it makes them subservient to the male….and who is the head of the household in the bible? The attack on the church is not a mere coincidence. And it goes on and on.

    To Marc Rudov,
I have been a huge fan of yours for years now. Your articles, media appearances and web page are intelligent and insightful, and draw attention to an insidious problem of gender imbalances facing America.
However, being a dual citizen of Australia and the USA, I find the knee-jerk reactions to ” socialism” and big government programs kind of puzzling. I am in full agreement with you that governmental regulation is creeping more and more into everyones daily lives, but why have so many Americans protested so violently about some form of universal health care? Having enjoyed the benefits of Medicare in Australia, where I was assured that a serious illness would not wipe me out financially, I find it hard to fathom why a commitment by the U.S government to provide for the medical care of its own citizens would be met with such cries as “socialism” or “communism”?
As for gender issues, it is very noticeable in the United States how women are favored in anything ranging from legal issues to how genders are portrayed in the media. Australia has its share of issues like this, but on the whole there is a lot less militancy about gender relations . The “us vs them” mentality in women just isn’t as prevelant there.
Anyway, you are right to form the connection between a large, overbearing government bureacracy and the females that favor this because they have something to gain by it.
Keep up the good work Sir. I admire your moral courage in addressing these issues, and its a shame your radio show wasn’t more successful.

B Simmons: The reaction to universal healthcare is simple: it’s socialism.

Healthcare is not a right, and the government has no place being involved in it. The government does not allow free competition between insurance providers (another form of government interference), across state lines — that’s the biggest reason costs are out of control.

Government involvement in healthcare always means ESCALATING costs, access to citizens’ health records, rationing, doctor shortages, and inferior care. Other than that, I can’t think of any reasons we are pissed about socialized medicine.

Socialism is injurious in every form. Big government, small balls.

Greetings Marc and every reader on this site- your article concerning socialism and the male vacumn is right on the money. I am the long suffering husband of a highly profficient woman researcher lecturer -see our web site as above – who was marginalised and bullied to the extreme eventually losing her tenured life position at Queensland University of Technologies Faculty of Education a hot bed of rampant leftist neo marxist international feminist politics and the biggest Faculty of Edu in Brisbane -Australia .I realised early on -ie- 20 years ago-that these femprop ideologists hate our gutts and their agenda is to totally suppress, subdue, surpass, viliify litterally every speck of we us males to the enth degree repeatdly -and the what is worse is the way conservative male politicians just let it happen right in their various offcies and electorates etc–incredible and the US is strikingly similar –all universities in Australia, Canada ,New Zealand ,are much the same full of leftist nihilistic academic twitts and goverened overtly and covertly by shrill screaming feminists incapable of historical logical cause and effect true data sensibilities oh yes they are anti historic and for good reason -they hate all male endeavours period and their recording-including the except for twisting items their way only.. I am sure the readers understand all this.Well you betetr get a handle on it all if you don’t .Because –this is what can ahppen to your job. Now you Americans will need to watch this closely –attention all males not rampantly compliant and lefties in various US civil service jobs including the military take note the increased villification behind your backs to get more and more even non qaulified females into your old job will increase under OBAMAS outrageous initiatives. Then one fine day a letetr will arrive saying your job position has been eliminated and here old boy is your severance eearly retirement package Now just piss off-(this has been happening in Australia for a long time under LABOR–read- Democrats. Then what happens -down the track say a few months fellows discover much to their amazement that their old job has beed redefined poltiically even at times and holy there are now not one female but 2-3 doing the business and colonising your old area–etc etc –This crapp has to be exposed and attacked with gusto and plenty of it wake up men everywhere and educate yourselves onlione and support good men such as Marc Rudov he is doing a great job cheers from AUSTRALIA where we are being dragged into a mad health fiasco complete with federally imposed future taxpayer funded massive debt by our morons in the Federal LABOR –read Democrat government- just as I speak These clowns are ratcheting up our foreign debt by one and a half billion a week–but that may not be all of it -With only 22 miilion people and 6-8 % unemployed -Now does any of this sound at all familiar ? JGK Brisbane Northside Australia . WHAT the hell are we all going to live on down the track a little ways You americans are about to be taxed out of your boots as I see it on FOX daily here.. holy cow. ? We are already down that road-like the stupid Europeans

On the health care issue you need to expand your viewpoint a little. The Australian Medicare system works efficiently in providing a basic level of coverage for each citizen, and each citizen has the option of purchasing private insurance. But Medicare will not give you a completely free ride- you have to purchase expanded insurance to cover more expensive operations. But the system works simply because – it covers 20 million people as opposed to over 300 million, and the government and people feel that healthy people are productive people and are willing to pay higher taxes for it.

But how can I argue with an individualist American viewpoint that feels no responsibility toward other American citizens? To encourage government to help the less fortunate doesn’t mean you have small balls. And the fact that Wall Street got a huge bailout of taxpayer money due to their own greed and irresponsibility shows that the rich will gladly accept socialism if its to their benefit.

Hello. This is my first visit to this site and found this article informative.

I recently have been hearing of the Alpha, Beta and Omega male concept in society which frankly confirms what Wasp males have been experiencing.

I will say one thing to any doubters as to the leftist/feminist/homosexualist’s depth of bad behavior: if you are conservative, they will use your sense of fairplay and honor against you. My advice when you MUST debate them is to always know that they would not stoop to lying and insulting etc so you need to cover your bases. Stay in an open area, keep your hands to the side, voice down, and assume you could be ratted out.

Persuasive polemic, until you consider the propensity of the right wing for chivalry. In the UK prime ministerial debate yesterday, it was the Conservative candidate, David Cameron, who said that retirement ages would have to rise, starting with men. This received no criticism from any of the other two centre and left candidates, true – they know how male-bashing is a free pass, but it was the right winger who instigated the blatant discrimination.

At least with left wingers, they introduce ‘positive discrimination’ in an attempt to encourage more women into men’s old hard roles, and vice versa.

Most right wingers are beholden to the housewhore wannabes- the number one enemy of men’s equality struggles. Fascism starts at home – don’t let right wingers return women to their old domestic thrones.

Tom makes a good point. Even here in the States guys like Glenn Beck are prone to view women as victims. I am thinking of the march he did with Al Sharpton to protest Rap Music lyrics. Rudov’s tendency to link the Gynocracy to liberal politics generally could well be driving away Men’s Rights allies.

In this article, I assert that socialism and manhood cannot coexist. I’m correct.

Both liberal and conservative males are afraid of females. Political party is irrelevant. If males cannot handle my message, let them go back to their mommies.

    Marc – YOU ARE AWESOME!!
I have been preaching the same (general) failings of our gov’t, our misandrist media, & the entitlement attitude of, “It’s ALL about ME!!” (which MOST women manifest) for over 20 years. It’s sooooo GREAT to hear another male (publicly) exhort the same things!!! Man-oh-man, have I been raked-over-the-coals (by both genders) for requesting, or demanding, courteous behaviour from females! My mantra is as simple as possible: MUTUAL Respect & Courtesy! If I don’t get that, I inquire as to why, I would EVER want to speak to that PERSON — again… I have said for years that, most peoples actions/inactions are fueled by FEARS. This is evident in their jobs, relationships, behavoiurs, etc, etc. No-one seems to be accountable nor responsible — for anything; “What a world. What a world!!” Thx, for ALL that U do!!

Regarding Woodrow Wilson — who had been president of Princeton prior to his election — he won his second term promising not to involve the country in the war in Europe. Within months of his reelection he sent American men to fight in World War I, one of the most horrible and destructive in history. War has always been viewed by socialists as a way to destroy existing culture and to replace it with Marxism. FDR was also reelected promising not to involve us in foreign wars and within months, hundreds of thousands of U.S. men were slaughtered so that Stalin could invade China once Japan’s defenses were destroyed and after his competitors in Hitler and Mussolini were removed, Stalin could take over much of Eastern Europe. Men were pawns in all this and yet we hear only that men cause wars. Women are vain, stupid creatures who think about little other than themselves. Today, they are unable to properly function even as mothers.
